Description
The impact of community development work is often subtle, incremental and difficult to quantify. To respond to this, the New Economics Foundation (NEF) was commissioned by the Community Development Foundation (CDF) to produce evidence of a Social Return on Investment (SROI) for community development activity. The report tracks the cost benefit of four local authority CD teams who identify and support local volunteers in their areas who focus on improving the lives of people in their communities.
