The NCQ Board for 2026 brings together a powerhouse of experience and expertise, comprised of representatives from Neighbourhood Centres in rural, regional and metropolitan regions in Queensland.
This year, they’re based in communities from as far north as Cooktown and as far west as Mt Isa.
For 2026, our Board Members are:
Sandra Elton from North Townsville Community Hub (NOTCH),
Sharon Gingell from Northside Connect in Nundah,
Caroline Cuckson from Deception Bay Neighbourhood Centre,
Louise Judge from Chinchilla Community Centre,
Leeanne Harris from Mount Isa Neighbourhood Centre,
Paula Callaghan from Benarrawa Community Development Association, and
Tracey Boulton from Cooktown District Community Centre.
Associate Board Members Gigi Lacey and Joe Martinovic joined the Board earlier this year, increasing specialist expertise in Governance and Finance.
We thank outgoing Board Member, Tracey Dickinson from Community Support Centre Innisfail Inc., for her valuable contributions to the board throughout 2025.
We also thank Alana Wahl from Laidley Community Centre, who stepped down earlier this year and held positions as Chair and Treasurer at different times.
