Description
This report was commissioned by a group of Brisbane-based Community and Neighbourhood Centres to analyse their role responding to local needs and issues including Brisbane’s Flood Crisis. The report analyses the role and purpose of NCC’s in Australia including the activities, programs, relationships and approaches they take working alongside community. The report also looks at the role that these Centres played before and after the floods as well as the resource implications of neighbourhood/community level work in the context of disaster recovery.
