Neighbour Day encourages us to grow belonging across Australia and build the inclusive communities we want to live in, one relationship at a time.
Neighbourhood Centres offer belonging, support, and refuge to all people. They create opportunities for participation and connection through community events such as markets, festivals and fun days, low cost and free activities, community lunches, social eating groups, health and wellbeing activities such as exercise and yoga, volunteering opportunities and much more.
In a world that sometimes feels disconnected, Centres provide welcoming space where everyone belongs. No matter your age, background, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, or circumstance, Neighbourhood Centres are for all.
Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre hosted Grow Your Neighbour Day in their beautiful community garden. The day was all about entertainment, community spirit, and belonging and included al fresco dining by the garden, live music, arts & crafts for all ages, fun activities, local market stalls, giveaways and more.

These free lunches will be held monthly as a way for the community to connect and learn about the programs and services available.
