By offering activities, programs, and opportunities for people to come together, Neighbourhood Centres help build the informal support networks that empower people to recognise when someone may be struggling and offer support long before they reach a crisis.

Whether itโ€™s a simple chat over a cup of tea or participation in a community activity, Centres offer moments where people can connect, look out for one another, and guide those in need to professional support if required.

Neighbourhood Centres are helping to create a culture where communities care for one another, where asking โ€œR U OK?โ€ is a natural part of everyday life, and where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
